Hitch up for an Australian touring adventure on a caravan safari trail. These Self Drive Safari Manuals will show you the best route to take, not-to-be-missed attractions along the way, and tips and hints for you to enjoy an on-road tour around Australia.
The Australian Caravan Safari Trails was the initiative of the Caravan, RV and Accommodation Industry of Australia (CRVA) to promote both the industry and regional tourism. Made possible by an Australian Government grant of $250,000 through Tourism Australia, pilot Australian Caravan Safari Trails were run in 2006 by the Caravan and Camping Industry Association of NSW (on behalf of CRVA). The Self Drive Manuals are based on 2006 safari programs.
These self drive manuals are recommended as guides to help you plan your trip. Travellers are encouraged to research places of interest and speak to visitor centres of each region for more information.
